Walk Disney World & Disneyland Remove Mask Mandate For Vaccinated Guests
The most magical and happiest places on Earth are no longer requiring masks for fully vaccinated guests.
According to an update posted to Walt Disney World’s website on Tuesday, face coverings will be optional for fully vaccinated guests in both outdoor and indoor locations starting Feb. 17.
Face coverings for young children are still required on resort transportation such as buses, the monorail, and the Disney Skyliner regardless of vaccination status.
The masking mandate for indoor areas at the resort was enforced in late July 2021, with the exception that masks were optional in outdoor areas.
Current guidelines require visitors to wear masks in all indoor locations, regardless of their vaccination status. Unvaccinated visitors will need to continue wearing masks in all indoor locations.
