Encanto’s “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” Tops Charts!

Even though “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” everybody still desperately wants to!

“We Don’t Talk About Bruno,” the surprise hit off Disney’s Encanto soundtrack, has done what Frozen’s Let It Go couldn’t; It’s become the first Disney soundtrack song to reach No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart since Alaadin’s A Whole New World did in 1993.

The catchy Disney tune, written by Lin-Manuel Miranda, surprisingly knocked Adele's Easy On Me from the top spot. The group song — which now holds the record for the most artists to be credited on a Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 — was performed by Carolina Gaitán, Mauro Castillo, Adassa, Rhenzy Feliz, Diane Guerrero, and Stephanie Beatriz.

The song joins the “Encanto” album itself as a chart-topper, as the animated film’s soundtrack has topped the Billboard 200 chart for the third time in the last four weeks.
