Christian Bale would play Batman again under one condition
Oscar-winning actor, Christian Bale, says he is open to returning to play Batman again!
Christian Bale starred as Bruce Wayne in the Dark Knight Trilogy from 2005-2012. Nolan directed the critically-acclaimed Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, and The Dark Knight Rises, with the latter films grossing over $1 billion at the worldwide box office. The trilogy is arguably DC’s best movies, with it being popular with both fans and critics.
Christian Bale’s only condition to return was that Nolan himself be attached to the project.
In a recent interview with ScreenRant, Bale said:
“I had a pact with Chris Nolan. We said, ‘Hey, look. Let’s make three films, if we’re lucky enough to get to do that. And then let’s walk away. Let’s not linger too long.’ In my mind, it would be something if Chris Nolan ever said to himself, ‘You know what, I’ve got another story to tell.’ And if he wished to tell that story with me, I’d be in.”
Bale is set to make his return to comic book movies as the villain Gorr the God Butcher in Thor: Love and Thunder, which will be opening everywhere on July 8.
