Harry Styles opens up about his sexuality

Harry Styles may be a sex symbol to many, but that did not stop him from being ashamed and uncomfortable with that side of himself.

In a new interview with Better Homes & Gardens, the star spoke honestly about how he has recently been working through issues related his sexuality and sex life.
“For a long time, it felt like the only thing that was mine was my sex life,” Styles said. “I felt so ashamed about it, ashamed at the idea of people even knowing that I was having sex, let alone who with.”
Despite being linked to actress Olivia Wilde since January 2021 and many other female celebrities in the past, Harry’s sexuality has often been the focus of speculation thanks to his style, which occasionally includes dresses, and the frequent appearance of a Pride flag at his concerts or on his clothes.
However, Harry has found the media’s obsession with him to define himself as “outdated”.
“The whole point of where we should be heading, which is toward accepting everybody and being more open, is that it doesn’t matter,” he said. “And it’s about not having to label everything, not having to clarify what boxes you’re checking.”
He added: "I've been really open with it with my friends, but that's my personal experience - it's mine.”
Styles is currently preparing for the release of his third album Harry's House, which he calls "by far the most intimate" project yet and will be released on May 20.
The singer debuted the album's first single As It Was earlier this month, and recently unveiled two new tracks at Coachella, Boyfriends and Late Night Talking. It was also revealed that the title of a fourth record is Daylight.
