Golden Globe 2023 Nominations!

The Golden Globes are back and have announced their 2023 nominees.

The Banshees of Inisherin leads the list of nominations earning eight, including best picture (musical/comedy) and writing and directing noms for Martin McDonagh. Everything Everywhere All at Once followed with six noms, while Babylon and The Fabelmans each earned five. Overall, Searchlight Pictures leads the film distributors with 12 noms, followed by A24 with 10 and Netflix with nine.

On the TV side, Abbott Elementary leads the nominees with five, including best TV series (musical/comedy) and best actress in a TV series (musical/comedy) for Quinta Brunson. HBO Max and Netflix tied for most noms in television, with 14 each, followed by Hulu with nine.

The nominations come as the Golden Globes broadcast attempts to claw its way back following numerous diversity and sexual harassment controversies that led NBC to drop the ceremony in 2021.
