Cassie sues Diddy for rape & abuse!

What Diddy should be missing next is his freedom!

In a bombshell lawsuit filed in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, R&B vocalist Cassandra Ventura, known as Cassie, has accused her former boyfriend Sean "Diddy" Combs of a decade-long cycle of abuse, sexual slavery, and rape. The lawsuit implicates Bad Boy Records and other affiliated companies, including Epic Records, as complicit in the alleged abuse.

Ventura's lawsuit, filed just days before the expiration of New York's Adult Survivors Act, seeks to bring attention to the trauma she endured during her relationship with Combs. The suit names Bad Boy Records, Epic Records, and other Combs-affiliated entities as complicit in the alleged abuse, shedding light on the broader industry dynamics that may have enabled such behavior.

The legal document accuses Combs of exerting control over Ventura by plying her with drugs and alcohol, leading to dangerous addictions. The reports detail Combs as a serial domestic abuser who physically and psychologically abused Ventura throughout their professional and romantic relationship. The suit also alleges that Combs forced Ventura into engaging in sexual acts with male prostitutes while he watched and recorded the encounters.

Combs' lawyer, Ben Brafman, vehemently denies the allegations, asserting that Ventura's demand for $30 million and her threat to write a damaging book were rejected as blatant blackmail. Ventura's legal team, led by Douglas H. Wigdor, responded by claiming that Combs offered Ventura "eight figures to silence her" before she decided to speak up and give a voice to women who suffer in silence.

The lawsuit implicates not only Combs but also the music industry at large. Bad Boy Records, Epic Records, and other entities affiliated with Combs are accused of being complicit in the alleged abuse. This case adds to a growing list of high-profile figures in the music industry facing accusations of sexual misconduct.

The suit outlines a pattern of Combs' alleged erratic and violent behavior, including an incident where he reportedly blew up rapper Kid Cudi's car after learning of his romantic interests in Ventura. Other allegations include chasing a rival industry executive with a firearm, forcing Ventura to carry his handgun, and introducing her to a lifestyle of excessive substance abuse.

Ventura's legal team contends that she made numerous attempts to break away from Combs, only to be coerced back before the alleged rape that marked the end of their relationship. The filing describes Combs' vast network and employees actively seeking Ventura out when she tried to hide, explicitly stating that her failure to return would hinder her success in the entertainment industry.

Ventura's lawsuit invokes various federal and state laws, including sex trafficking laws, human rights laws, and gender-motivated violence acts. The legal action seeks justice for the decade of Ventura's life that she claims Combs took away from her through threats of violence, drug abuse, physical and psychological abuse, and sexual slavery.

As the legal battle unfolds, Cassie's courageous decision to come forward exposes (yet again) the disturbing side of the music industry and raises questions about accountability and complicity. This showcases the importance of addressing allegations of abuse and misconduct, not only against individuals but also against the entities that may have enabled such behavior.
