Ariana Grande, The Weeknd & more Youtube accounts hacked
The world was extremely confused when different celebrities began posting strange videos to their YouTube channels, although many were quick to realize that their favorite artists had been hacked.
The YouTube channels of Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Harry Styles, Justin Bieber, Drake, Eminem, Kanye West, Travis Scott, The Weeknd, Lil Nas X, and Michael Jackson seem to have been hacked on April 5th.
One of the videos uploaded to these high-profile pages was titled “Justin bieber – Free Paco Sanz (ft. Will Smith, Chris Rock, Skinny flex & Los Pelaos)”
Paco Sanz, also known as Francisco José Sanz, is a security guard from Valencia, Spain who was arrested for fraud after obtaining large sums of money from donations for his illness. Prosecutors have accused Sanz of “taking advantage of his illness” to obtain illegal funding and has since been sentenced to 2 years in prison.
Meanwhile, another video on Harry Styles’ account captioned, “Daddy Yankee – SPEED IS THE BEST HACKED BY @LOSPELAOSBRO ON TWITTER”, was uploaded to Youtube according to Daily Mail.
A Spanish content-posting account on Twitter has claimed the responsibility for the infamous act.
Although, the account has claimed full responsibility for the hacking spree, the identity of the Twitter account @lospelaosbro is unknown.
The account claims in Spanish that this is “just the start.”
The videos have since been taken down from the accounts with Vevo and Youtube investigating the situation.
