Little Mix’s Jade Thirlwall Signs Solo Deal With RCA!

Little Mix’s Jade Thirlwall finally inks her solo deal!

According to Billboard, Jade becomes the third founding member of the Little Mix group to sign a solo deal; Jesy Nelson, who left the group in 2020, has a deal with Universal's Polydor, while earlier this year Warner Records announced that Leigh-Ann Pinnock has joined their team.

Perrie Edwards remains the only member without a deal but has reportedly begun recording her own solo material. Details of any record deals have yet to be released. She has also been working on her Disora clothing brand.

Jade’s music deal, which is with RCA, will see her working with both UK and US teams to launch her solo career.

Jade's connection to RCA started when Little Mix signed with the label after leaving Simon Cowell's company Syco in 2018, just days before releasing their 2018 album LM5. The group also dropped their Confetti album with RCA in 2020.

The group has previously announced that they are going on hiatus after their upcoming tour, which kicks off next month.

In addition, Thirlwall has signed with Full Stop Management for worldwide representation.

LA’s Full Stop is run by Jeffrey Azoff, Irving Azoff, and Brandon Creed, and represents a roster of artists including Harry Styles, Lizzo, Saweetie, and Mark Ronson, amongst others.

Fans seem upset with Thirlwall’s RCA deal, due to the label’s lack of marketing previously witnessed with other artists. This should push RCA to give Jade the proper album roll-out she deserves.

No confirmation has been made on any dates but hopefully, we should be hearing some Jade solo music this year!
