Halsey falls in love in “So Good”

After a long wait — and a lot of drama — Halsey has finally released her latest single, So Good. And accompanying it, is an amazing music video directed by her partner Alev Aydin that highlights the couple’s love story.
The road to releasing the song was actually quite dramatic after Halsey took to social media to claim her record label — Capitol Music Group — was refusing to release the song without a viral TikTok campaign attached to it. Even after her TikTok video explaining the situation went (ironically) viral, the artist grew even more frustrated when So Good still wasn’t given a firm release date.
The song is very Halsey-esque in its essence and is produced by Tobias Karlsson and Max Martin. It begins with Halsey singing about fated stars and her past, which essentially highlights the theme of the song which is returning to lost love. The production moves between a solid beat and melodic guitars which both carry Halsey’s voice beautifully. The beat reaches a climax with Halsey belting the chorus forcing you to stomp your feet happily.
I would recommend giving the song a listen if you have already. It’s definitely a grower.
