After teasing it for months on TikTok, Charlie Puth has finally dropped his highly-anticipated new single, Light Switch, from his upcoming self-titled album with Atlantic Records. This is Puth’s first solo single since 2019 and follows his 2018 sophomore album, Voicenotes

The upbeat pop song was produced by Puth and co-written with longtime collaborators JKash and Jake Torrey.

Charlie is written all over this record; with his distinct catchy production that speeds up and slows down at the right moments. Light Switch has a cool ’80s tone with a chorus build-up that just makes you want to dance harder and harder as the song progresses.

From Puth’s lip-smacking ad-libs to hooks that you cannot keep out of your head, Charlie creates another bop that has already been gaining attention (no pun intended there!) and praise from fans.
