The collaboration we’ve been begging for!

Charli XCX has teamed up with Rina Sawayama for a new collaboration titled, “Beg For You.” And if the record sounds familiar, it’s because it’s a (perfectly executed) sample of “Cry for You,” the dance hit by September.

The song follows Charli’s previous singles “Good Ones” and “New Shapes,” the latter of which features Charli’s past collaborators Christine and the Queens and Caroline Polachek.

“New Shapes,” which was released last November as part of Charli’s upcoming album Crash was scheduled to be performed with Caroline Polachek and Christine and the Queens on Saturday Night Live, but the performance was canceled due to concerns over the high number of COVID-19 cases in the US.
