After a long wait, Anitta has announced the release of her fifth album, “Versions of Me.”

Fans were surprised as Anitta had previously announced that her upcoming album, “Girl From Rio,” will be released in the summer. However, Anitta has recently signed a global deal with Sony Music Publishing to help bring the star to international audiences, which might be the reason behind the change of album roll-out.

Anitta has recently been in headlines everywhere as her recent song Envolver has broken multiple records.

Up until this moment, “Versions of Me” has been pre-saved an impressive 30,000 times in less than 3 hours as fans anticipate the album’s release.

In an Instagram post announcing the album she wrote:

“Even after millions of plastic surgeries, doctors and interventions... my inside just stays the same. I could see through all the pictures everyone is posting wishing me happy bday that my soul kept all the important things I had inside since I was a kid. This is the happiest birthday of my life. Never felt so loved, so complete, so satisfied, so happy. Thanks to all the love everyone showed me today. Still getting through all the messages around the world. World that I came with the certain that I was gonna change it ... and couldn’t stop repeating to my family when I was a kid everything that right now is happening. Thanks to the universe. It always brings back to you the things you manifest.”

Details about the album are still unknown, but Anitta herself has confirmed that previous hits such as Me Gusta, Girl From Rio, Faking Love, Envolver, and Boys Don’t Cry will all be on the album.

Anitta also confirmed that the album will include new songs featuring Khalid & Ty Dolla $ign.

“Versions of Me” will be out on April 12.
