The Real Housewives of Potomac star Ashley Darby recently took to social media and announced her split from her husband, Michael Darby, after eight years of marriage.

On Bravo’s Daily Dish Ashley confirmed that the two have separated ways:

“We are now both at very different stages in our lives and have different goals for our futures. We both want the other to achieve true happiness and fulfillment and feel that we cannot do this together.”

The couple, who got married in 2014, have two sons together: Dean Michael Darby, 2, and Dylan Matthew Darby, 1.

Michael, who is a restaurant owner and in the real estate business, was suspended in 2018 from The Real Housewives of Potomac after he was accused by a cameraman of groping him. He was charged in connection with felony assault and misdemeanor improper sexual conduct, but the charges were later dropped due to lack of evidence.

Michael denied the allegations.

The issues seem to continue as Michael allegedly made a sexual remark about cast member Robyn Dixon's husband Juan Dixon, which was witnessed by Robyn, co-star Candiace Dillard-Bassett and husband Chris Bassett.

Ashley did not announce the reason for the split however, one can take a wild guess and might probably be correct.
