Keke Palmer & Sacha Baron Cohen star in “Super Toys”!
Keke Palmer and Sacha Baron Cohen have been cast “Super Toys,” the next film from “American Hustle” and “Amsterdam” director David O. Russell.
“Super Toys” follows Palmer and Cohen as a pair of “groovy ’70s toy sales reps on a life-and-death mission to save themselves, their marriage and their live-wire 12-year-old daughter while on the road in Middle America.”
Palmer had a great year following her role in Jordan Peele's Nope, released in theaters last year. The actress also starred in the crime thriller Alice in the titular role and did voiceover work for Disney's Toy Story spinoff Lightyear. Palmer also recently hosted Saturday Night Live and does voices for the new animated shows Human Resources and The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder.
Baron Cohen has starred in the 2020 sequel Borat Subsequent Moviefilm , returning after his first movie, 2006's Borat. In recent years, the actor has also appeared in the series The Spy and did voiceover work for the hit Disney film Luca. He's also been cast in the upcoming Apple TV miniseries Disclaimer alongside Cate Blanchett and Kevin Kline.
