Are Beyoncé and Zendaya going to work together on a new movie?

Well, it seems so!

Reports from The Sun claim that Beyoncé and Zendaya are currently in talks to work on a remake of the 1959 film, Imitation of Life.

The revolutionary 1934 film, remade in 1959 tackles questions of race, class, and gender as an aspiring white actress takes in an African-American widow whose mixed-race daughter is eager to pass as white.

This seems right up Beyoncé’s alley, who has always been at the forefront of social activism and has recently been re-entering the film industry with projects like Disney’s The Lion King.

Zendaya is reportedly in talks to star in the movie, whereas Beyoncé is said to be producing the remake.

Zendaya previously appeared in Beyoncé's 2016 music video All Night, admitting in an interview that year that she was “obsessed'“with the star.

“I’m just obsessed with Beyoncé and have been since my birth,” Zendaya has said.

No official announcement has been made yet, and if I was going to guess, it will be a while before we get one. All I know is if it is true, it will definitely be worth the wait!
